After sitting empty for many years, the office that Nico's father, Volker, had built for himself in the 60s was in desperate need of attention and care.  Removing layers of past tenants "improvements" revealed and celebrated the architecture.  Working primarily with salvaged and second-hand materials while adding strong personal touches, the space was retrofitted and breathed full of new life.
